Clements and Elkmont are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2021, but not for long. The Colts just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Red Devils at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Clements is coming into the matchup on a five-game losing streak.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 92-59, which was the final score in Clements' tilt against West Morgan on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Colts can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 309th, while the Rebels are ranked 63rd).

Meanwhile, Elkmont was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 55-50 to Asbury.

Elkmont's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Clements, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.

Clements was able to grind out a solid victory over Elkmont in their previous meeting back in November, winning 59-47. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colts since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
