Baseball Recap: Georgetown Takes Down Singer in a Playoff Battle

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Georgetown had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They came out on top against the Singer Hornets by a score of 10-7. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Georgetown now has a winning record of 11-10. As for Singer, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-12-1.

Coming up, Georgetown will take on Family Christian on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Flames have averaged an impressive 9.6 runs per game this season. Singer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
