Volleyball Recap: Wilmington Christian Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

If Wilmington Christian Academy was riding high fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Greenville Christian Academy on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Patriots fell 3-1 to the Topsail Pirates on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Patriots in their meetings with the Pirates: they've now lost six in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 24-26, 25-21, 25-13.

Topsail was led to victory by Audrey Johnson and Hannah Losey. Johnson had 11 digs and two assists, while Losey had six digs and three aces. That's the most aces Losey has posted over her last six matches.

Wilmington Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Topsail, they pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
