Recap: Maplesville Red Devils vs. Isabella Mustangs
The Maplesville Red Devils won the last time they faced the Isabella Mustangs, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Maplesville was the clear victor by a 54-31 margin over Isabella. The win made it back-to-back wins for Maplesville.
It was another big night for Jakobe Nix, who scored 16 points along with five steals. That's the first time this season that he scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Nehemiah McCary, who scored 15 points along with six rebounds.
Maplesville's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Isabella, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Maplesville will head out on the road to face off against Notasulga at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Isabella, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Central of Coosa County at 7:00 p.m.
