Lausanne Collegiate falls despite strong effort from Carson Boyle

The Lausanne Collegiate Lynx's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 61-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of First Assembly Christian. While losing is never fun, Lausanne Collegiate can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 160th, while First Assembly Christian is ranked fifth).

When it comes to explaining why Lausanne Collegiate lost, one person who can't be blamed is Carson Boyle. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points. Andrew Ford was another key contributor, scoring nine points.

Lausanne Collegiate's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for First Assembly Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lausanne Collegiate will take on Harding Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Harding Academy will be looking to keep their seven-game home win streak alive. First Assembly Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Evangelical Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th.
