Basketball Recap: 21 Straight Home Wins for Spring Garden

Spring Garden put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 80-62 victory over the Cleburne County Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in November of 2021.

Spring Garden pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their 21st straight at home dating back to last season. As for Cleburne County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Spring Garden Panthers take on the Cedar Bluff Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Spring Garden knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Cedar Bluff likes a good challenge. As for Cleburne County, they will be home for the holidays to greet Cherokee County at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cleburne County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
