Baseball Game Preview: Simpson Academy Cougars vs. Stringer Red Devils

The Simpson Academy Cougars will face off against the Stringer Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Saturday, Simpson Academy got the win against Stringer by a conclusive 10-1. The matchup marked the Cougars' most dominant win of the season so far.

Chase Adcock and Benjamin Kennedy did most of the damage at the plate: Adcock went 2-for-3 with one triple and two RBI, while Kennedy scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4. What's more, Kennedy posted two hits, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Barrett McKenney, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

The victory got Simpson Academy back to even at 5-5. As for Stringer, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
