Basketball Recap: Houston Comes Up Short

Houston lost against Barrow back in January of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Houston Hawks were dealt a 74-12 loss at the hands of the Barrow Whalers.

Houston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Barrow, their victory was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1.

Houston will face off against Chugiak at 7:30 p.m. on January 9th. As for Barrow, they are taking a road trip to take on South Anchorage at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday. Barrow is facing South Anchorage at the right time seeing as South Anchorage is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
