Soccer Game Preview: Kewaunee vs. New Holstein

The Kewaunee Storm will head out on the road to challenge the New Holstein Huskies at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kewaunee has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since September 25.

Kewaunee lost 10-1 to Gibraltar on Monday. Kewaunee were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 7-0.

Meanwhile, New Holstein came up short against Winnebago Lutheran Academy on Monday, falling 4-1. The defeat continues a trend for New Holstein in their meetings with Winnebago Lutheran Academy: they've now lost three in a row.

New Holstein's loss dropped their record down to 4-12-2. As for Kewaunee, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-14.

Kewaunee took their win against New Holstein in their previous meeting back in September of 2018 by a conclusive 4-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Storm since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
