Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sauk Rapids-Rice). They put the hurt on the Detroit Lakes Lakers with a sharp 18-4 win on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Riley Turck made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

In other batting news, Sauk Rapids-Rice got a massive performance out of Brooklyn Diskerud, who went 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, four runs, and two RBI.
