Recap: Royse City Bulldogs vs. Rockwall-Heath Hawks
After soaring to 31 points the game before, The Royse City Bulldogs were a bit more limited in their game on Saturday. They were outmatched by Rockwall-Heath on the road and fell 38-3. Royse City was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-3.
Drake Mciver threw for 30 yards on five of eight attempts. On the ground, Aidan Walker picked up 16 receiving yards.
Caleb Hoover went supernova for Rockwall-Heath, throwing for 344 yards and three touchdowns, while also punching in two touchdowns on the ground. Fletcher Fierro also helped out with an impressive 93 receiving yards.
Royse City's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Rockwall-Heath, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-2.
Royse City will look to defend their home field on Friday against Horn at 7:00 p.m. Horn is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Rockwall-Heath, they will head out on the road to face off against North Forney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. North Forney is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
