Softball Game Preview: Fayetteville Christian Warriors vs. Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots

The Fayetteville Christian Warriors will challenge the Arendell Parrott Academy Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Fayetteville Christian has given up an average of 16.5 runs per game this season, but Monday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fayetteville Christian let Natalie Ysasaga and Abigail Lagos run wild. Ysasaga went 3-for-5 with five RBI, three runs, and one stolen base, while Lagos scored four runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all five of her plate appearances. Those five RBI gave Ysasaga a new career-high. Bailey Johnson was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.

Fayetteville Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .591. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Meanwhile, Arendell Parrott Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 19-7 to Bethel Christian Academy.

Fayetteville Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Arendell Parrott Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-5.
