Arlington had lost five games straight , but after bumping their record up to 2-6 on Saturday that streak is in the rearview. They blew past the Kalida Wildcats 20-10. The Red Devils' offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last three games.

As for Kalida, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10. That's two games in a row now that they have lost by exactly ten runs.

For Kalida's part, Kate Foppe was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with three runs and three RBI. Sophie Vorst was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Kalida beat Arlington by a score of 19-14 later that day.
