Basketball Recap: Victory Baptist Academy Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

After a string of four wins, Victory Baptist Academy's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Mercy Culture Prep Royals by a score of 55-53. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Patriots have suffered since January 7th.

Loss or not, Victory Baptist Academy got some senior leadership from David Lamb and Hudson Ruhl. Lamb went 6 of 13 en route to 14 points and six assists, while Ruhl dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten boards. That's the most assists Lamb has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Coleton Ruhl, who posted ten points.

Victory Baptist Academy's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-9. As for Mercy Culture Prep, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-12.
