Softball Recap: Thorsby Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

With a playoff win on the line, Thorsby rose to the challenge on Saturday. They never let the Comer Tigers get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Rebels, who have now won seven contests by eight runs or more so far this season.

Thorsby got a massive performance out of Brooklyn Reeser, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and two doubles. That's the most RBI Reeser has posted since April 1st. Kadence Parker was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one home run and five RBI.

With the victory, Thorsby broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 12-7-1. As for Comer, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-18.

As of now, neither Thorsby nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
