South Anchorage faced Service in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Wolverines skirted past the Cougars 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Wolverines: when they faced off against the Cougars last Wednesday, they had to take a 17-9 loss.

David Feigner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered two runs (both of which were unearned) on two hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in seven consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, South Anchorage's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Landon Drumm, who went 2-for-4 with one RBI.

South Anchorage's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Service, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 13-1.
