Football Recap: Straughn Starts off Right with Win over Highland Home + How To Watch

Straughn took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They really took it to the Highland Home Flying Squadron for the full four quarters, racking up a 40-12 victory. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Tigers had established a 21-point advantage.

Straughn didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Brenden Bartholomew and Charlie Jordan.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Straughn will square off against T.R. Miller at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Highland Home, they will challenge Charles Henderson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
