Volleyball Recap: Green Mountain Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Green Mountain couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 3-1 to the Berthoud Spartans on Thursday.

Grace Herrig paced Green Mountain's offense, picking up ten kills. Herrig got some help from Neva Cook and her 29 assists. Addie Evans controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Green Mountain's defeat dropped their record down to 18-8. As for Berthoud, the victory (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 25-1.

Green Mountain has already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Battle Mountain on the 14th. As for Berthoud, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Windsor on the 13th.
