Softball Recap: Chartiers Valley Takes a Loss

Chartiers Valley entered their contest against South Park on Wednesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Chartiers Valley came up short against South Park, falling 11-1.

Chartiers Valley saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Duffill, who went 2-for-3 with one home run.

Chartiers Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for South Park, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chartiers Valley will head out to face off against East Allegheny at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. As for South Park, they will venture away from home to challenge Thomas Jefferson at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
