Mattanawcook put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They put the hurt on the Calais Blue Devils with a sharp 11-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lynx, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

James Trott made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run but no hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2024.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Bradly Dill, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April. The team also got some help courtesy of Owen Harper, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.

Mattanawcook was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .444. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Calais only posted a batting average of .000.

Mattanawcook pushed their record up to 11-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Calais, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Mattanawcook beat the Blue Devils by a score of 9-2 later that day.
