Volleyball Recap: Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Christian Academy was the 3-0 winner over Temple Christian when they last played one another back in September of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2 on Thursday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Christian Academy sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-21, 10-25, 25-21, 22-25, 15-13.

Becca Keller paced Christian Academy's offense, picking up 19 kills. Keller got some help from Kelsi Hiler and her 27 assists. Serenity Abbott controlled things from the service line, finishing with 18 aces.

Christian Academy now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Temple Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Christian Academy has already played their next matchup (against Varsity Opponent), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Temple Christian, they will be playing at home against Immaculate Conception Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
