Recap: Red Bluff Spartans vs. Pleasant Valley Vikings

Red Bluff was beaten by Pleasant Valley 42-7 on Friday. Red Bluff was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-0.
When it comes to explaining why Red Bluff lost, one person who can't be blamed is Jose (chacho) Chavez. Despite the final result, he rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.
Pleasant Valley was led to victory by Quinntyn Thomas-Brass and Joseph Garcia. Thomas-Brass rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries, while Garcia threw for 111 yards and three touchdowns.
Red Bluff has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-4 record this season. As for Pleasant Valley, their victory was their third straight on the road, which bumped their overall record up to 6-3.
