Volleyball Recap: Kimberly Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Kimberly had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Neenah Rockets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Kimberly got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-20, 15-25, 15-10.

Alex Krause paced Kimberly's offense, picking up 13 kills. Krause got some help from Blake Zielinski and his 25 assists. Krause was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Kimberly's victory bumped their record up to 22-8. As for Neenah, their defeat ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-13.

Coincidentally, Kimberly and Neenah will both be playing Arrowhead the next time they take the court. The Papermakers will host the Warhawks at 1:20 p.m. on Saturday, while the Rockets will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
