Softball Game Preview: Forest Bearcats vs. Pelahatchie Chiefs

Forest is on a four-game streak of home losses, and Pelahatchie a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Saturday. The Forest Bearcats will be playing at home against the Pelahatchie Chiefs at 11:00 a.m. Pelahatchie took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Forest, who comes in off a win.

Forest's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over Leake Central. That 15-run margin sets a new team best for the Bearcats this season.

Meanwhile, Pelahatchie fell victim to Puckett and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 20-0 to the Wolves.

The win got Forest back to even at 6-6. As for Pelahatchie, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.

Forest was able to grind out a solid victory over Pelahatchie when the teams last played on Saturday, winning 19-16. Do the Bearcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Chiefs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
