Volleyball Recap: Ottawa Cyclones vs. Junction City Bluejays

Ottawa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Junction City Bluejays. The Cyclones were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bluejays apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2020.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-21.

Ottawa's loss dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Junction City, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-7 record.

Ottawa will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Eudora at 6:30 p.m. Eudora will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Ottawa surely won't give up without a fight. As for Junction City, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory vs. Topeka on the 28th.
