Football Game Preview: Raleigh-Egypt Pharaohs vs. Wooddale Cardinals

The Raleigh-Egypt Pharaohs will face off against the Wooddale Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Wooddale took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Raleigh-Egypt, who comes in off a win.

Raleigh-Egypt took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They walked away with a 20-13 victory over Memphis East.

Meanwhile, Wooddale was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 20-14 to Overton. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wooddale's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Raleigh-Egypt, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Raleigh-Egypt ended up a good deal behind Wooddale when the teams last played back in August of 2024, losing 30-14. Can the Pharaohs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
