While Thousand Oaks didn't have the best season last year (they finished 10-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Skyline Grizzlies on Thursday. The win was nothing new for the Lancers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Jaden Kolkowski looked comfortable as he struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, James Luderer was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one double. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Dane Holt was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances.

Thousand Oaks hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts every time they've taken the field this season.

Thousand Oaks' victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Looking ahead, Thousand Oaks will host Fillmore at 11:00 a.m. on March 22nd. As for Skyline, they will venture away from home to square off against St. Bonaventure at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
