Soccer Game Preview: Tabernacle Christian vs. Faith Christian

The Tabernacle Christian Conquerors will venture away from home to challenge the Faith Christian Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Tabernacle Christian barely beat Cramerton Christian Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Conquerors blew past the Crusaders 4-1 on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but Tabernacle Christian sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Meanwhile, Faith Christian hadn't done well against Liberty Christian recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Patriots with a sharp 6-2 win. The result was nothing new for Faith Christian, who have now won ten matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Liberty Christian with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Levi Brown (2), Houston Walker (2), and Michael Cox (2).

Tabernacle Christian's record is now 12-5. As for Faith Christian, their record now sits at 15-4-1.

Tabernacle Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Faith Christian in their previous meeting back in August, sneaking past 6-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Conquerors since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
