Softball Recap: Immanuel Christian Beats Mojave for Their Third Straight Victory

Immanuel Christian waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Mojave Mustangs with a sharp 15-2 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Crusaders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Michaela Morgan and Ava Blakie did most of the damage at the plate: Morgan went 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base, while Blakie scored three runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-4. Those three RBI gave Morgan a new career-high. Charlotte Cabrera was another key player, scoring three runs.

Immanuel Christian's record is now 13-4. As for Mojave, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Coincidentally, Immanuel Christian and Mojave will both be playing Lone Pine the next time they take the field. The Mustangs will host the Golden Eagles at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday, while the Crusaders will host them at 3:15 p.m. on Friday.
