 The Freeport Yellowjackets will be playing in front of their home fans against the East Allegheny Wild Cats at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday. Both teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
 On Thursday, Freeport made easy work of Eden Christian Academy  and carried off  a  9-3 win. That six run margin sets a new team best for Freeport this season.
 Meanwhile,  there's no place like home for East Allegheny, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Steel Valley on Thursday as East Allegheny made off with  an  11-4 victory.
  Ryan Rupert was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 1-for-1.  Traynor Janosko was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while  getting on base  in two of his four plate appearances.
 Freeport's win  ended  a  three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 5-8. As for East Allegheny, they are  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record  this season.
