Whale Branch is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They came up short against Bridges Prep, falling 25-3.

Saiya Fisher was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Two bases. while getting on base in both of her plate appearances. Fisher is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season. Another player making a difference was Ny'Asia Jackson, who scored a run and stole Two bases.

Meanwhile, Edisto unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 15-7 to Williston-Elko on Thursday. The Cougars have struggled against the Blue Devils recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meetings.

Sarayah Hart made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Raven McDougal, who scored a run and stole Three bases. while going 1-for-3.

Whale Branch's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Edisto, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.
