Monmouth Academy is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Waynflete just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Flyers by a score of 60-58.

Meanwhile, Spruce Mountain put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Wells, posting an 83-55 victory. Fans of the Phoenix have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 20+ points.

Monmouth Academy's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Spruce Mountain, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.
