Volleyball Recap: IC Catholic Prep Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact IC Catholic Prep can now relate to. They fell 2-0 to the Central Rockets on Thursday. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rockets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2021.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17.

Central got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tiernan Naus out in front who had 13 assists and three digs. That's the most assists Naus has posted since October 2nd. Lexi Yanez was another key player, getting seven digs and three assists.

IC Catholic Prep's loss dropped their record down to 12-21. As for Central, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 19-15.

IC Catholic Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Central, they will challenge Resurrection at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
