Deric Kelley continued his hot streak on Saturday by dropping his third-straight game with at least two steals. He shot 57% from the field on his way to 17 points in addition to 11 boards and two steals. He is becoming a predictor of Southwest's success: when he posts at least eight rebounds the team is 2-1 (and 2-4 when he doesn't).

Looking ahead, Kelley and Southwest will face off against Hitchcock County at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Roughriders have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since January of 2018, but a win here would be a good start.
