Marlene Crabtree Game Report: @ Fairmont

West Bladen came out on top against Fairmont on Tuesday thanks in part to Marlene Crabtree's efforts. Crabtree made a splash, pitching nine innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. She played a big game the last time she faced Fairmont back in April of 2024, so the team probably should've seen her coming.

Crabtree's effort led West Bladen over Fairmont and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights are 9-1 against the Golden Tornadoes going back to March of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
