Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Staples walked away with it. They walked away with an 80-71 win over the Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars on Tuesday. Winning may never get old, but the Wreckers sure are getting used to it with their ninth in a row.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Staples to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dhilan Lowman, who shot 67% from beyond the arc en route to 24 points and five rebounds. Those 24 points gave Lowman a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Adam Udell, who dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 assists.

Staples' victory was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 22-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points over those games. As for Kolbe-Cathedral, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.

As of now, neither Staples nor Kolbe-Cathedral have any future games scheduled.
