Clovis extended their postseason success on Friday against Clovis West. They breezed past the Golden Eagles to the tune of 48-7. Considering the Cougars have won seven contests by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Clovis got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was James Curoso out in front who rushed for 135 yards and two scores, and also picked up 47 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns. Deagan Rose was another key signal caller, throwing for 294 yards and four TDs while completing 79.2% of his passes.

Clovis didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Clovis West to a completion percentage of just 30.8%. The team can thank Sterling Edwards for the heroic effort on defense: he. Given Rose's standout performance, it's clear Clovis West's secondary just wasn't on the same level.
