St. John Bosco leaves no doubt in 41-18 win over Mater Dei, climbs to consensus No. 1.

The game of the year proved two things: 2020 St. John Bosco quarterback SJ Uiagalelei is really good ... and the Braves are now the consensus No. 1 team in the land after a 41-18 win over Mater Dei (Santa Ana, Calif.) in the No. 1 vs. No. 2 Trinity League showdown.
Uiagalelei threw for four first-half touchdown passes and added a fifth late in the fourth quarter in the decisive victory.
The loss snaps Mater Dei's 22-game (on field) win streak and drops the Monarchs to No. 2 in this week's composite rankings. Allen (Texas), St. John's (Washington, D.C.) and IMG Academy (Brandenton, Fla.) round out the Top 5.
New to the rankings this week are No. 19 JSerra Catholic (San Juan Capistrano, Calif.), No. 24 Folsom (Calif.) and No. 25 Duncanville (Texas).
Only schools recognized by two or more media outlets are eligible for
inclusion in the composite rankings. Teams were assigned a score of 40
for each media outlet that did not recognize them as part of their Top
25, rewarding teams that received consensus acclaim.
