Ferndale dropped their record down to 8-4 on Tuesday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost  12-1 to the Glendale Vikings. Having soared to a lofty 17  runs in the game before, the Yellow Jackets couldn't push the score so high this time.
 Ferndale saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Aubrielle Leverknight, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run and one  double.
As for Glendale,  the  win made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 4-8. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 9.5 runs.
On Glendale's side,  Madison Peterson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she  struck out 15 batters over  six innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Peterson has been consistent: she hasn't  tossed less than nine  strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with three  RBI and two  runs. That's the most  RBI  she has posted since back in May of 2024.
 In other batting news,  Ava Weld was  incredible,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and one  double. Another player making a difference was  Jayden Fry, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with three  runs and two  RBI.
 Ferndale wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  matchup,  an  18-3  victory against United on the 30th. As for Glendale, they have also already played their next game,  a  2-1  win against Juniata Valley on the 30th.
