Basketball Recap: South Barber Takes a Loss

South Barber was the 59-34 winner over Pretty Prairie when they last played one another back in February of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The South Barber Chieftains came up short against the Pretty Prairie Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 50-29.

Leading Pretty Prairie to victory were Emmett Harbaugh and Eli Young. Harbaugh went 5-for-10 en route to 11 points, while Young went 5-for-10 on his way to 13 points. Those 11 points gave Harbaugh a new career-high. Cordell Colton was another key player, putting up eight points and eight boards.

South Barber's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Pretty Prairie, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-5.

South Barber wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 41-29 defeat against Central Christian on the 14th. As for Pretty Prairie, they have also already played their next matchup, a 62-48 win against Fairfield on the 14th.
