Basketball Game Preview: Marmaton Valley Wildcats vs. Crest Lancers

Marmaton Valley is 0-10 against Crest since January of 2018 but things could change on Friday. The Marmaton Valley Wildcats will look to defend their home court against the Crest Lancers. Marmaton Valley will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Fans were treated to a Battle of the Wildcats on Tuesday. Marmaton Valley strolled past Yates Center with points to spare, taking the game 46-32.

Meanwhile, Crest won against Northeast on Tuesday with 51 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Tuesday. Crest beat Northeast by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 51-38. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Lancers.

Marmaton Valley pushed their record up to 12-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.3 points over those games. As for Crest, their victory bumped their record up to 14-4.
