Baseball Recap: Wheeler Takes a Loss

Wheeler lost against Pingree back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Warriors lost 14-1 to the Highlanders. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Wheeler saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Mahoney, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Wheeler now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Pingree, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Wheeler will be playing in front of their home fans against Boston Trinity Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pingree, they will head out to take on Bancroft at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
