Volleyball Recap: Six Straight Home Wins for Topsail + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Topsail rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wake Forest Cougars.

While Topsail won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-9, 25-22.

Topsail was led to victory by Hannah Gates and Audrey Johnson. Gates had 13 assists and six digs, while Johnson had eight digs and one assist. Charlotte Latta also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Topsail's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-6. As for Wake Forest, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-10.

Topsail has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Chapel Hill on the 23rd. Wake Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
