Carroll put another one in the bag on Wednesday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Homestead Spartans 3-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 on Saturday.

One reason for the win was Carroll's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-10, 25-6.

Carroll found their leader in sophomore Cala Haffner, who had 14 digs and three aces. Those 14 digs set a new season-high mark for Haffner.

Carroll was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive games.

Carroll's record is now 8-0. As for Homestead, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-4.

Carroll has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Fort Wayne Snider on the 28th. As for Homestead, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Fort Wayne Wayne on the 28th.
