Softball Recap: Graham Comes Up Short

Graham was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the Chatham Central Bears. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Red Devils' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Graham's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Chatham Central, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Looking ahead, Graham will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Bartlett Yancey at 5:00 p.m. Graham is facing Bartlett Yancey at the right time seeing as Bartlett Yancey is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Chatham Central, they will venture away from home to challenge Uwharrie Charter Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Chatham Central knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Uwharrie Charter Academy likes a good challenge.
