            Softball Preview: Fairview Aggies vs. Cleveland Panthers        
        
		
        
        
            The Fairview Aggies will be taking part in a tournament against the Cleveland Panthers  at 5:00  p.m.  on Friday.
Thursday just wasn't the day for Fairview's offense. They came up short against  Good Hope on Thursday, falling  10-0. The Aggies haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
Meanwhile,  winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Cleveland). Everything went their way against Susan Moore on Thursday as Cleveland made off with  a  16-2 win. The  victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won nine in a row.
 Savana Delgado made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run over four innings pitched. She has been consistent  recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs while going 1-for-4. She also put up a  double, which was her first of the season.
 In other batting news,  Ella Thomas was a standout: she went 3-for-4 with one  home run and six  RBI. Those  RBI marked the first that  she  brought in this season.  Makenna Hayes was another key player,  scoring three  runs and  stealing  Two bases. while  getting on base  in all four of her plate appearances.
 Cleveland  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .528. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
 Fairview's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Cleveland, their win bumped their record up to an identical 3-6.
 Everything went Fairview's way against Cleveland when the teams last played  on Saturday, as Fairview made off with  a  13-3 victory. Does  Fairview have another victory up their sleeve, or will Cleveland turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
