Lake Highland Prep entered their tilt with DME Academy on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the - by a score of 3-1.

Lake Highland Prep had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-21.

Lexi White paced Lake Highland Prep's offense, picking up 15 kills. White got some help from Elle White and her 24 assists. Cecilia Ithier Perez and Isa Umpierre kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

When it comes to explaining why DME Academy lost, don't look at Mar Villena Dura. Despite the final result, she had 25 assists and nine digs. Villena Dura is on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Lake Highland Prep's victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for DME Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-9.

Looking ahead, Lake Highland Prep will venture away from home to face off against Montverde Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for DME Academy, they will be taking part in a tournament against Mater Lakes Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
