Softball Recap: Columbia River Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three matches, Columbia River finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They fell 6-1 to the Mark Morris Monarchs. The Rapids haven't had much luck with the Monarchs recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Columbia River's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6. As for Mark Morris, the win keeps they at an undefeated 21-0.

Coming up, Columbia River will head out on the road to challenge Heritage at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Rapids' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Timberwolves have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. Mark Morris does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
