Baseball Recap: Northwest Takes a Loss

Northwest lost against East Robertson back in April of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Northwest lost 16-2 to East Robertson. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Northwest saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Andres Garcia, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double was Garcia's first of the season.

Northwest's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for East Robertson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Northwest will be taking part in a tournament against Rocket City at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for East Robertson, they will take on Donelson Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
