Softball Recap: Tussey Mountain Takes a Loss

Tussey Mountain lost against Claysburg-Kimmel back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Titans took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bulldogs. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Tussey Mountain saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Adyson Weyandt, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Tussey Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Claysburg-Kimmel, their victory was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tussey Mountain will host Moshannon Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Claysburg-Kimmel, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Branch at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
